It has been implemented in the UK to create a level set of rules to ensure all data held and processed by organisations within the country is secure and processed lawfully. Public organisations, schools (and academies) are required to comply with UK GDPR. At St Michael’s Church of England High School, we continue to work to ensure that all our data processes comply with the UK GDPR. The process of being fully UK GDPR compliant is ongoing, and we ensure that all of our policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated.
As a parent/carer, you will receive letters from us about consent and updating your information with us. Please read and respond to any information you receive.
Please contact the school in writing if you wish to review the consent for your child. If your child is over 13 years old, they can contact the school to review their consent.
