Jolly Jumper Day
On Friday 9th December, we are holding a Christmas Jumper Day, when students and staff will wear a festive jumper and donate £1; proceeds will be split between Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Birmingham Women’s Hospital: Woodland House and the Jayne Gray Bursary Fund.
During lunchtime on the day, we will be hosting a music live lounge in the canteen, enabling students to listen to festive carols and songs. Christmas dinner will be available in the canteen on the jumper day.
Students must still wear full school uniform and the Christmas jumper (or plain red jumper decorated in a festive way) should be worn over their school shirt and tie. Please note that a Christmas T-shirt is not allowed. In addition, the Christmas jumper must not have expletive or offensive words or images.
As participating students will not be wearing blazers on that day, we ask that they organise themselves the night before and make sure they put their expectations cards, values cards, and equipment in their bags.
This is a wonderfully festive event, and we encourage all students to participate if they wish to. Any student not wishing to participate should come to school in full uniform as normal.
