The week beginning the 13th of May is our #Interfaith week at St Michael’s. During the week, students will be participating in a range of activities that celebrate the diversity of faiths and no faith that we have within our school community. On Tuesday 14th May, all students are encouraged to attend school in brightly coloured odd socks or wear an alternative tie to their school tie; this is an outward and visible celebration of the wonder of humanity in all of its diversity of culture and faith. The values we encourage our students to live out are values that people of every faith and no faith have in common, mercy, integrity, care and compassion, humility, achievement, equality, leadership, and service. We all share the belief that we should ‘love our neighbours’ in the way we show care, kindness, and love to all in our school and wider community.
