Year 11 Summer Preparation gives students the opportunity to reflect and revisit subject content in preparation for Year 11. Completing the tasks will support them to have a confident start to Year 11. Revision practice in the form of google quizzes have been provided by departments to help students remember and recall information from Y10 to help store this information in their long-term memory.
We do not expect students to dedicate substantial portions of their summer holiday to these resources; however, little and often over the holidays will benefit them significantly in preparation for their first Year 11 mock examinations, which are taking place the week beginning 31st October.
Students will be rewarded at the start of the academic year for time spent completing the attached resources; there is also a ‘tick list’ to help them organise and track what they have completed. Students only must complete the subjects and topics that they usually cover in their lessons.
